Choose, buy and mount
At Tripteq we produce sidecars specifically for a number of BMW models. Precisely because we do not offer kits for all motorcycles, we can keep our kits affordable for the group that choose these BMW models as sidecar tractors. This allows us to maintain a high stock and thus guarantee a fast delivery time. We develop our sidecars and connecting parts ourselves. We outsource the final production to specialized companies. Everyone has their job!
Our kits are technically well thought out, TüV approved and excel in simplicity. We offer our kits in different versions and variants to meet your needs. In addition, we have a wide range of accessoriesso that you can adapt your Tripteq even better to your wishes. Thanks to our close cooperation with dealers and other sidecar builders, we have been able to expand our program even further.
A basic kit for the BMW models contains all parts and Manuals to assemble the sidecar to a BMW R850/1100/1150 R/RS/RT, GS and the BMW R1200 GS.
With the basic kit it is possible to ride both solo and with a team. After first assembly you can switch between solo or sidecar within 10 minutes. If you prefer to get the most out of your sidecar combination, choose the WZ1 or WZ2 kit. Hereyou will find an explanation of the differences between our various kits.
The WZ series is sold with a very complete manual and TUV certificate and is therefore the first real do-it-yourself sidecar kit. To assemble the kit you need some key experience. In addition, you must have basic tools, a torque wrench and of course a suitable workplace. The manual takes you through the entire process of mounting the frame, building the box and aligning the combination.
Don’t you feel like doing the construction, the spraying and the inspection yourself? No problem! It is of course also possible to have this taken care of by Tripteq or one of our dealers such as Motoport Hengelo.
The UN kit has a frame for universal mounting. This one is for the more advanced do-it-yourself builder who has experience with the manufacture or modification of connection parts. Tripteq does not supply any other connection parts than for the BMW models mentioned above. We can mediate between dealers and customers.
For the WZ and UN kits we offer a range of three models sidecar body; The Heeler, The Ridgebackand The Fox .The WZ and UN kit are also only available as a frame kit. You choose your own sidecar body
